Hi, I’m Han—a registered nutritionist (RNutr), athlete, and founder of Nutrition by Han.
With over 5 years’ experience and a strong academic background in sport, nutrition, and performance, I specialise in helping active women recover their periods and reconnect with their bodies—without giving up the things they love.
I’ve competed for both Great Britain and Scotland in lacrosse for over 10 years. But behind the scenes, my own journey with hypothalamic amenorrhea (HA) began while I was training for the World Cup. I was tired all the time. Injuries kept coming back. I lost my speed, my performance dropped, my libido vanished, and honestly—I just felt meh about life.
I had no idea my missing period was a red flag. It wasn’t until an injury forced me to step away from training that I started to reflect. That “irregular period” I brushed off? It was a full-blown warning sign. And deep down, I knew I’d been sabotaging myself.
Through recovery, reflection, and a deep understanding of both the science and mindset behind period loss, I completely transformed my health—and now I help others do the same. My approach is science-backed, empathetic, and totally personal. I’ve supported countless women to get their periods back, conceive naturally, and feel energised, confident, and free in their bodies again.
This isn’t a punishment or a miserable phase you have to “get through.” It’s an opportunity—a comeback—and I’m here to make it feel fun, freeing, and full of support.
